Our Facility
Premier Surplus, Inc. operates the largest privately owned electronics recycling and data destruction facility in the Southeast. Our state-of-the-art, 137,000 square foot complex sits on 11 acres in Dawsonville, GA just north of Atlanta. We are an R2v3 and NAID AAA certified operation with over 140 full time employees processing twenty to twenty-five million pounds of e-waste per year. This facility is an American, woman owned and operated business specializing in electronics recycling and IT asset disposition solutions with offerings that include “end-of-life” equipment management, certified data destruction, remarketing, recycling, and product destruction.
Security
- Entire eleven (11) acre campus is a controlled area with high-security, barbed wire outrigging fencing, 24×7 monitoring, and controlled access gates.
- Ninety-seven (97) camera, 4MP monitoring system with 116TB of video back up.
- Controlled access facility with authorized-personnel-only access for focus material processing zones.
- Remote monitored, 24×7 security system.
- All carrier/vendor access to the facility is controlled from within.
- Visitors are verified, signed in, badged, and escorted at all times.

- All inbounded material is weighed and assigned a Throughput Number, a unique identifier, in Plant 1, that follows it throughout the facility.
- Premier Surplus employees are drug tested and background checked and receive ongoing training for Health & Safety compliance to meet ISO, R2v3, and NAID requirements.
- Our facility undergoes 3-5 audits every year to ensure compliance with all certifications.
Logistics
- Premier Surplus owns and operates the largest fleet of box trucks and tractor trailers in the electronics recycling industry in the Southeast.
- Our in-house logistics management team gives our customers the highest level of flexibility for the collection of IT assets and e-waste.
- The added benefit of dedicated transport gives our clients peace-of-mind that their assets and data will be locked and sealed in one truck until it enters our secure facility.
